A weathered voice in a flickering metropolis grabs you "just for a moment" and wraps your into a the music scape of Atlas Lab's second release on CLLCTIVE, Glory the Night.
Solei has your hand, you are moving through the world as it emerges in your mind. Is she singing to you of your love lost with her? How far in can you go? Her voice draws you across the songs, from sparse to flush, you feel the seasons that Atlas Labs have under their belt. From wise melancholy to a funky optimism, this album is a journey.
Join in the revelry and sorrows of Atlas Lab as together we find Glory the Night.
"Musically, the album grooves in psychedelic, soulful passage - guitars glimmering with tremolo, electric organ humming, lead singer Solei’s recognizable vocals gliding on top of the mix. It hits with a pang of nostalgia for long nights spent with friends." - Sound of Boston
"These are well crafted, intentional, and often times deeply moving serenades that simultaneously slip your thoughts into a dreamlike purgatory that you don’t want to leave." - Boston Hassle
Ive been a pleasure seeker
And I've been lookin for you too
I've been a soft speaker
I've been runnin round my room
I've been low down slow down
Yeah lower than you too
I've been too long gone now
To wonder how I've been so used
Your eyes are bluer to me now
Now that you're far from me far from me
Your eyes are bluer to me now
Now that you're gone from me gone
I've been a blues racer
And it's time that I lose
I've been a fool chaser
Runnin round lookin for you
And once I slow down
I lost my latitude
I've been a time waster
Too much spent on you
Your eyes are bluer to me now
Now that you're far from me far from me
Your eyes are bluer to me now
Now that you're gone from me gone
I was a pleasure seeker seeking pleasure seeking never to be caught in no ones arms again
You were a pair of arms I passed through on my way before but never thought I'd fall in to again
You were a pleasure seeker, you let it make you weaker, you were a pleasure seeker, so was I
So was I

A deeply atmospheric track, featuring Wu-Tang Clan's The RZA, with soothing electronic elements that are meant to heal. Bandcamp New & Notable Dec 3, 2018
Her music always has invoked emotion in me and these earlier tracks are no exception! Sunset and we’re falling are contenders for some of my absolute favorite ILWAG tracks but as always, every piece in this collection has a lil bit of something special :). So glad I stumbled upon this after being a fan for years. quinnkiera11
